Here at Good Talk Therapy
My services are best suited for individuals who want to improve their existing or future relationships.
My strengths include managing anxiety, enhancing self-esteem and confidence, and helping clients reduce the feeling of out of control. When we talk about our struggles, it can make us feel vulnerable. My goal is to create a space for honest conversations. |

Frequently Asked Questions
How many sessions do I need?
It's really different for everyone, but you get to decide. More importantly, let's see if I'm a good fit. If it feels right after the first session, I recommend coming in weekly for the first few weeks.
Do you have evening and weekend availabilities?
Yes, I work evenings and weekends.
Do you work with children?
I work with pre-teens and teens (9 years old and up).
What is Integrative Somatic Therapy?
Formerly referred to as Mindfulness-Based Somatic Therapy (MBST), Integrative Somatic Therapy Practice (ISTP) ™ represents a holistic approach that amalgamates diverse therapeutic techniques to comprehensively support the well-being of individuals undergoing therapy. ISTP ™ incorporates elements from Yoga, Mindfulness Practice, Breathwork, Hands-on healing modalities, Somatic (body-based) interventions, and neuroscience, all strategically designed to amplify the body's inherent healing capabilities and rekindle a sense of hope. By focusing on the innate process of healing trauma, ISTP ™ facilitates the gentle release of stored trauma within the body, nurtures self-confidence, fosters greater emotional resilience, and equips individuals to engage with life's challenges with clarity, openness, and compassion.
Do you do direct billing?
I do direct billing for CVAP and FNHA clients.
Please submit a receipt to your insurance provider for reimbursement.
Does my insurance cover counselling?
Please check with your insurance provider. If they cover counselling with a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) with BCACC, then you can submit a receipt to your insurance provider for reimbursement.
Are you accepting clients for couples therapy?
Not at the moment but I can refer you to someone else who is very good.
